Below are three services provided by The National Autistic Society that you may find useful.

Signpost provides personally relevant information about autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs) and related services for people in the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. It is designed for:

  • people with an ASD

  • parents or carers of a child or adult with an ASD

  • professionals assisting either of the above

Information is drawn from The Autism Services Directory, a directory of autism services and training events across the UK, and from the About autism and Services and support areas of The NAS website

The Autism Services Directory (formerly known as PARIS) is the UK's most comprehensive directory of services and events for people with an autistic spectrum disorder, their families, and people who work with them.

Finally, Next Steps, a Scottish autism information resource, has been compiled by NAS Scotland and funded by the Scottish Executive Education Department. It has been designed as a reference guide for anyone who has been affected by a diagnosis of autism, including Asperger syndrome.

Predominantly aimed at parents and carers of a child who has recently been diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), it is a useful resource for the rest of the family including siblings, grandparents, partners of people with ASD and the individual with ASD themselves.
